Ok hey my t-maxx 3.3 is stalling. I have it tuned right.....i think. It runs Great and when its coming in to stop it just stalls. Its running good with blue smoke coming out like it should. It just stalls and it gets annoying havin to run to go get it and start it again. Thanks For the help..Austin

It could be a number of things. If it runs great and only cuts out when you stop, you may need to adjust your idle screw. Or, it could be your glow plug. I've been told that if your truck runs well all day, then all of a sudden it starts running like crap and the weather/temp hasn't changed, you should change your plug. just because it fires and runs doesn't mean it's running right.

ok i will replace it tomorow and if its not that or the idle screw what else could it be

someone else might want to answer that for you, I am still new at this myself, but one of those two things have worked for me in the past, ususally the plug

Hello.

My truck had a brief moment of stalling the last time I drove it. I had flipped it pretty hard and thought I'd broken something but then it corrected itself after adjusting the fuel (it was running a little thin) and hasn't repeated the problem since.

Unfortunately, I'm very new to this and can't offer more help.

Mine does the same thing... no matter what I do. I just run the idle a tad high, so that when it does it's little rpm dip after stopping it from part throttle, it dosn't die. I never have a problem if I give it full throttle and then stop... it's only when I stop from part throttle, it idles down lower than normal and dies. It's tuned as good as it will be tuned without having a better carb with a mid-throttle adjustment. I think what happens is when it's tuned rich enough at full throttle, it's too rich at part throttle. Without a part throttle adjustment (which the stock 3.3 carb does not have) the only thing you can do is deal with it... or run it too lean at full throttle. Obviously one is a better choice than the other. :)

i have a question as well my 3.3 sometimes when i hit full throtel it acts like its going to off for like a second and then it revs up normally, what could be the problem? thanks
