t-maxx 3.3 problem

have a quick question....sort of

i just bought a new 3.3 the other day...get it home out of the box to get it started for breaking in.....put the ez start on there press the button and nothing happens....press it again and smoke starts to come out of the ez start motor itself.....now it wont budge my question is is the ez start motor itself gone bad? or am i stupid and doing something wrong? lol

um smoke usually signifies something has gone wrong i would say te motor is toast either call traxxas cust support and inform them they are usually good people and stand behind the product or if you bought it locally take it back and see what they can do for you
