T-Maxx 3.3 converstion problem...

I had a 2.5 and put a 3.3 in it. it was working til the swap. the 3.3 starts up and rev's. when i go full throttle the car moves forwards a bit but has no power, won't even make up up the driveway. a LHS took a quick look at the tranny and didnt say anything was wrogn with it. swapped in a new carb and same issues. any idea's?

also i am a newbie to nitro's, someone else swapped the engine in for me and had to change something to make it work with the ez start setup.

if it revs up and and the truck barely moves , sounds like the slipper clutch is not tight enough

Yes i agree.. my GF had to get some slipper pins(under $10au) and a good tighten up and away she went

And if the tranny is ok and the engines is ok the only thing inbetween is the slipper..
When ever i get a problem i work down the line to try to solve the problem..
If you find your slipper is ok then keep checking the drivetran till u get to the wheels
