Hi. I'm new to the hobby and just bought a used T-Maxx 2.5 off ebay. It showed up with half a tank of fuel and ran like a dream. The fuel was pink but that's all I know about it. After the tank was empty I refilled with the blue top fuel (20%) that I'd bought and the engine immediately flooded when I tried starting. Eventually I got it to start but it was blowing raw fuel out the exhaust. I leaned it out and ran it for a few passes, but it wouldn't idle and I can't get it to start again. Do different fuels require different settings? Any suggestions? Thanks for any help.

Is your glow plug any good? Might have burnt out. Check the plug and then set the engine back to factory settings.

What's the method for checking the glow plug? Sorry, like I said I'm a newbie.

if you're using the blue wire: take the plug out of the engine, put the wire back on the plug, hold the plug against the head of the engine, crank the ez start, if it glows its good, if it doesn't its bad.

if you're using a glow igniter: take the plug out and put it in the igniter
