hi guys i have got a t maxx 2.5 and it has a big problem it starts fine but there is no drive weels do not turn but they will turn by hand I'm thinking this is a gear box problem but as i am new to this I'm not sure so any info will help thanx for your time



p.s could it be stuck inbetween forwerd and reverse gear?

I had this problem recently. Try to spin the wheels for a minute. The spur gear teeth could be shreded also.

I dont know if this will help but i had what sounds like the same problem and i found that it was in the transmission. use this link to my thread about what i did that fixed my problem.

Try tightening the slipper and making sure the tranny isn't stuck between forward and reverse. Most people install a forward only conversion in their trannys. Makes for a much smoother accelerating, much tougher tranny.

thank you very much guys after trying all of your tips i have found out the gear box is shot the alan nut in the tranny had been removed all the way out amongst a few bearings that had stuck

hi wayne it sounds like your gearbox has gone m8 if all ya drive shafts are working then i would look int the gearbox mate good luck

just done that m8 with a good m8 of mine and the shafts are shoty cheers m8
