whats everyones input on putting that on a tmax i was looking into it just didnt know how good it was :\

reverse is not installed in your tranny because it is a waste of space, your rig would be noticeably slower with reverse installed, not to mention that it adds weight and rotating mass it will also be less durable, look through the forums anyone will tell you that an foc is probly about the best upgrade one could get, i had reverse once and it was cool but not needed.

+1. The mass that you cut out of your rig by taking out reverse works out to a little over 1 1/2 lbs. It doesn't sound like much but 1 1/2 lbs out of a 10lb rig is a 10%ish shave of weight. Not to mention the rotating masses that slow you down and prevent some of your crisper throttle responses.

hey phins is that a confirmed poundage reduction i threw my reverse stuff out and never weighed it

Those numbers are not close...

The transmission does not even weigh 1 lb, how could you save 1.5 lbs?

Weight savings for the .15/2.5 black transmission from reverse equipped to forward only including the reverse servo and linkage is 3.63 OZ.

Weight savings for the grey 2.5R/3.3 transmission is 1.76 OZ including servo and linkage (not including the opti drive unit)
