What were those tires designed for, deep water ? Looks like a Good Year Aquatread. I don't see any adjustable turnbuckles for camber other than taking off the end. No 'on the fly' adjustment.

The arms form what I can tell look really weak! And no the tires look like the RC version of the " aquatread ". The site is hard to read. Someone please translate.

that thing looks like my poop, it looks so chessy, god what will they think of next.:horsecrap

links look adjustable to me

upper deck looks like it would take care of typical buggy rigidity issues

lower arms are a good looking concept in that they probably keep poop out of where it doesn't belong

shock towers arent hanging 'out there' which probably keeps them in one piece

Something new and out of the 'norm'. May be good, may be bad, but until someone drives it, I wouldnt knock it.

Never said the links weren't adjustable, just not in the conventional way. Looks like you would have to disconnect the rod end from the hub carrier to adjust camber. Too much work when it seems easier to just turn a rod and make the adjustment without having to take things apart.

I don't think it looks THAT bad. Lots of graphite support plate, the suspension doesn't really look that cheezy to me. Look at that rear chassis brace, it's long!

It's weird that the sway bars mount over the top of the suspension!

It would probably look a lot better if it has some stone guards on there.

The exhaust pipe setup is a little weird though, but you could probably bolt up a standard in line or coupled pipe on there. The support strap could be metal, it looks like on the right there is one of those fasteners with a screw, you tighten the screw. Hard to tell from the picture.

The rear wing mount doesn't looks that weak, but the posts are close together, so who knows.

The body sure looks funny though.

The car is actually pretty nice. Just like any other car it all depends on who is behind it. I for one can tell you it looks weak but it is strong. I have driven the model before it and it is built like a tank.
Those wing mounts dont break. Just like all the Bergonzoni cars. People say the wing mount is the first thing to go but I have never seen one go.
That pipe is awsome I use them on my all my OPS motors. It has a sound like no other. And when you go to tracks people go what the hell.
The only thing I didn't like about the Tag is that if you like mad steering it doesn't have it. Another odd buggy is the Mantua Ares. It looks pretty good too.

overall I like the minimalist design of the car, the tires are nice looking , more weight to a smaller patch area, wonder what the compounds are like?
the only possible flaw looks like the center brace..
it looks like the support for the center diff IS surrounding the diff, but the spur gear is on an extended post out BEHIND the brace, so overall stress on the main bearing behind diff might be tremendous with something like a C-5 or a torqyyyy motor on and off load there, and any hard jolts might put your mesh into a shizzle.
From looking at the other pics on the site it looks like a nicely engineered front c-hub set-up and it looks like a similiar linkage to the K cars,,,,,,, but all foreigns tossed in there I still like the overall design of the DCM car,, super drool over the DCM...

Do you mean Amersterdam maybe? :D

I like to show what is new and different. These people that knock it are idiots. Sorry to be so harsh but you are being idiots. How many successful RC's have you designed? TAG is formaly from Italy and has been in the game quite some time. You idiots think because it is not like your buggy is is a piece of poop? Well 1/8 buggies are a little over 20 years old. You think they always looked like they do now? Or did they even look the same in the mid 90's? What did they look like in the 80's? You think you are so freaking smart to say the the design evolution of the buggy is over, done can't be improved on? Come on now get over your weeked warrior asses. Look at this, a little trip down buggy memory lane

It seems like Hirez and Christian are the only people with open minds here, I just don't get that bash it because it is different mentality

I know you meant it nice, I kinda clarified my post, I didn't mean to lump you in with the other people sorry. I think I know what you meant :) and I know you are very open minded to new buggy design.

I also stand corrected looks like cbreaker and TeamPlayers also didn't attack it. TeamPlayers has actually driven one.

Blazer - I have always regarded you as one of the more knowledgable guys in here and I went back and re-read my post/comments on the TAG just to make sure I was being constructive with my comments and not just bashing it. If you felt what I said was that of an idiot then maybe it was just a misunderstanding. We all know how difficult it can be to convey exactly what we mean through typed message. Anyways, I still respect what you say and if I did offend you, I appologize. Keep the new stuff coming !!
