Just broke-in my brand spanking new sportmaxx. It is huge, soo powerful and I have pulled my first wheelie . It can idle forever and the ez-start is briliant. 2 things but, from the minute I start my maxx up there seems to be a rattle only when it idles. Also, the handling is hard, I think it is due to the suspension, should I put higher shock oil, harder springs or just more spring tensioners. Thanks alot :smoke:

The stock shocks on T and Sport Maxxes suck. You will find yourself popping shocl caps when you drive hard or jump at all. I would recommend getting some replacements. There are several good options, and guys here run a variety of setups. I personally run the traxxas big bores and like them. You may have to tweak the suspension to get it to handle better. Remember that you are only two wheel drive, and that will make a difference in a truck that size. I don't know if this is your first MT, but they will never handle like a buggy, stadium truck, or onroad. Something to think about. Congrats on the truck, you will love it.

The Maxx suffers from icantturnverywellitis so I am sure the Sport Maxx has it even worse as 4wd steer better than rear wheel drive. Get yourself a Hitech MG 645 for like $35 bucks its got over 100oz of torque but isnt the fastest servo.
