I'm thinking about buying some sway bars for the Maxx, anybody using them on there Maxx? If so what are your thoughts on them?

I had them long ago on my maxx. They helped out the handling a lot, but limited the wheel travel, and were not very good if you were going to be jumping with it. For a flat track or on road racing they would be great, but I dont recommend them at all for off road use. I removed mine quite a while ago, and never even thought of putting them back on.

I was going to put some New Era bars on mine... I bought the front bar and never got around to using it... I am going to sell it for some money for the new GT engine..

I used to run a sway bar on the rear of my old truck and sure it worked great especially on road (full speed cornering!) However not so good off road as has been said.

I now run 50W oil and heavy springs and the stability it gives me helps with cornering without compromising offraod ability too much. I reccomend upgrading your shock oil/springs took keep the versitility off long travel suspension when you need it.
