If you are referring to the T-Maxx sway bar that goes through the New Era alluminum bumper supports then YES they do work.

Lessen, since you are assuming this is for a maxx, I will add to it. I had the Dynamite sway bar on my maxx, and it cornered much better, but it really limited the suspension travel, and seemed to hurt more than help when jumping. I eventually took mine off. But if I were racing a maxx on road, or on a flat track with small jumps, then I might consider using one.
