I was just wondering if i got a 1/16 slash if i could put big super swamper tires on it or put other large tires on it

I wouldn't think so unless the hexs were the same but 1.9 and 2.2s would look funny and may cause problems, don't quote me but I would say not

As long as you use 12mm rims then yes you can put what ever tires on it you want, depending on the offset of the wheel and such if their real big they might hit in some spots. You could always get hex adapters too to go from 12mm to 14,17mm or even bigger I'm pretty sure then you could use wheels/tires off a MT. BUT adding bigging tires will effect your gearing and put alot more stress on the drive train.

Yeah, there isn't much room for bigger tires on the slash. They'll rub on the chassis and definitely not fit under the body. You could pick up a merv body to gain more options. You'd still probably be limited to running tires designed for the merv, and I'm not sure that they wouldn't rub the chassis. Your best bet would be to swap arms, shafts and rods over to the merv parts. The wider stance will open up some options. Have a pile of pinions around and gear that baby conservatively to start out.
