what is the best suspension and shock oil wt. set up for bashing/ jumping? right now I'm using 45wt.(suggested by a worker at the LHS) only in the rear with stock springs for the 2.5 soon to put it in the front shocks to see how that works out. Just curious on what you guys use.

Well If youve got the money to upgrade go with a big bore shock setup. They are around $64. You can get them a lil cheaper on Ebay. If you want to go with a more budget friendly set up, upgrade to the white progressive springs. I just installed a set on a friends maxx and it help considerably. He Picked them up for about $12 for a whole set and is also using 40wt shock oil

thanks for the tip. i probably will go with the springs first as money is an issue as usual.

u should get another set of stock springs and add then to te 1s u got on it now haha 2 springs on 1 shock! always wanted to try that!!:hehe:

Been doing that for years when I get in a pinch and can't get to a lhs. I hate the way spacers look. It works great in the front, but is a bit much in the back. I currently have 2 sets of stock trx shocks with some spacers in the back and a set of trx and ae's up front with ae blue springs and trx red ones over the top of the ae's on my 2.5 Maxx. Money's tight and so is my front end!
