i guess the stock shockes would beok but I'm not agreeing with the a-arms the nylon ones are more durable then the stock ones.

i am tired of plastic. and yes the stockers are breakable. if there not then explain to me how I'm looking at a broken shock in front of me. WHERE IS THAT LINK FOR THE BIG BORE??

let me ask how u know their not? and is it rerally worth over $200 on 8 shocks be serious think about it $200 on shocks or an an LRP .28 engine witch would u pick? or even on extra parts. and its not like I'm saying it because of the $$$ I'm saying because of what you can get in place of that over spending that much money on shocks. so tell me what ud think is a better deal 8 big bore shocks for over $200 or an LRP . 28 or the K 4.6? :deadhorse

The big bore kit is only 4 shocks. That's the point of the big bore, it replaces 2 small shocks on each corner with one larger shock.

I need to correct a statement that I made. I generally would not use aluminum a-arms on anything off-road that I drive, and I have been more than ecstatic about the quality and durability with the RPM arms. There is, however, an exception to the rule. Rolex has some aluminum suspension components that look VERY beefy on his Savage. I would probably give those a shot if I really wanted to buy aluminum arms.

ok rolex. where did u get them?

rc-mall on Ebay. I think it's all 'buy it now' prices. Most of the alloy I have came from them.

A arms are a FULL 5/16 thick. Not the brightest or the prettiest, but the beefiest. Nylon bushings and new hardware included.

If you know where you're driving, and don't go slamming into rocks, trees and walls, the added low end weight gives you a better ride, better traction and better overall handling, since there's no flex. Combined with better shocks and springs, you get what you like.

If you stay on your hands and knees, pushing it around the living room while making motor sounds with your lips, you shouldn't have any problems with broken parts or excess dust.
