So i broke an A arm and went and bought all new RPM A arms... installed them and now my suspension is really stiff... like the rear end wont come back up... I've added spacers to the shocks and still can't stiffen them up... Any Suggestions... thanks

Maybe the pivot balls are too tight

Check the pillow balls. They should move free with no slop. Also you may need to take a slight amount of material off of the a-arms where they sit in the bulk heads. Just a little at a time. You can always take more off. You can't put it back.

This most likely is the issue. I have had to do this to ALL RPM arms I have ever installed. They bind in the bulkheads and need a little material trimmed off them so that they will move freely.

If that isnt it..... you may have bent one of your shocks during your crash. Figure out wich one it is.. you can straighten em in a vise ect.

Don't try and straighten out a shock shaft. It WILL leak. Pick up a bag of shafts for a couple of bucks. Straightening a shock shaft is not good advise.

Spend all the $$ you want. As long as you dont damage the shaft.. it wont leak.

If it's bent it's damaged. And the next time it will bend even easier. And it will leak. We're not talking big dollar parts here.

ok this forum rocks!!! i dont have upgraded a-arms I'm still running the stockers but if i push down on the back of my maxx it will only spring it self back about halfway untill i pick it up......please help, this thing will do wheelies on a hair trigger anyway and I'm finding it real hard to keep the front end down with the rear shocks not returning to top......what can i do to fix my problem? big bores are on the comming soon list but anyone got a "for now" fix? o and when i bought my truck it came with a big bag of things to tune my suspension but i have no idea what any of it is for!.......freakin newbes eh?!?!?

Well, a stiffer rear end seems to aid in wheelies. I like to run my maxx with the rear end about 3/4 of the way up and the front end standing at attention. I mean after compressing the suspension. Where it returns to. You may just have to live with your torque monster! Loosening the slipper a tad will keep the front end planted.
