So when I ran my left front wheel of my tmaxx into a tree at about 20 mph I was surprised at the amount of damage it caused... Blew the tire off the rim, snapped upper and lower arm and bolts, bent the tie rod, and front bumper.i was wondering if aluminum arms are a good idea or if they are not worth the money due to weak bolts or possible damage to the bulkheads if the arms don't give

Don't go metal arms. Plastic can bend and snap back into place, metal just bends. Go with RPM replacements.

That is a 10th scale truck. Meaning your little 20mph crash is a scale 200mph crash. It didn't matter what you do if you keep hitting trees! :D
