superchager?

Just slap the idea out of your head... THEY DONT WORK. They are a complete waste of money. For that amount of money (about $200 or so), you could get a high performance engine and have more power than a supercharger could give you...

I agree. Most of the superchargers out there cram fuel but not air into the engine, so it is not a true supercharger. More things to worry about too. Just spend the money on a good quality engine.

alright then how about a cold air intake....... if they have them if so how much?

thx

Same with the supercharger... How does air flowing at the speed of sound possibly cool down in a blink of an eye?? it doesn't. Another "bling" item that is a waste of money... If you want to throw some money into ur GT, throw some RPM a arms and rear bulkhead on there... Use your money for something more worthwhile... and dont use K&N or similar air filters. They dont work near as well as RC filters (motor saver and such).

superchargers... BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD.... need i say more?

Search my friend, search. Type it in the search feature of this forum and you will find countless threads on this really, really dumb idea. We should sticky one of these threads so the question is no longer asked about once a month

yes there are superchargers for RC's, Link: http://www.rbinnovations.com/catalog/index.php. After looking over the site for about an hour and finding a cut-a-way view and seeing that its only a fan rather than a pump, I can't see where it would be worth the money. they may force a little more air into the system but it wont boost the air pressure that much. Besides, if you think about the way 2 cycles work, trying to force more air into the system will defeat the function of your tuned pipe and more fuel will exit the exhaust rather than being forced back into the cylinder before the exhaust port closes.

I wouldn't waist the money!!! :thumbdown :jet:

How bout you go to Google.com and type in Rpm a-arms? This is Rcnt not google.

And yeah, Superchargers, Nos, intakes and all that poop are Gimmicks in the rc game and are just crap. Not to be a jerk but if you want to rice out something, buy a honda. You want more speed and more performance? Buy a bigger mill. Simple as that.
