I am wanting to get this T-maxx 4910 as strong on bottom end as possible, I don't have any wide open places to go fast so I want to get moving with massive bottom end torque. In real full size vehicles we change the ring and pinion gearing, on these T-maxx what can be done?? spur gear? ring and pinion? trans gearing?? I do not know so please tell...Thanks in advance

Replace your clutch bell and spur gear. Go to a smaller clutch bell, less teeth, for more torque, and a larger, more tooth, spur for more torque. But this will hurt your top end. I run an 18/72 combo on my maxx.

???ratio???

I guess yours equals 4 to 1 ratio.?.?. So what is the factory gear theeth on the spur gear, clutch bell or trans input gear or what ever it is called. and do the offer diff ring and pinion ratios??thanks ,newbie agyver

If its a stock truck..my first advice is tune the engine really well not to lean though and then tighten spur gear and make sure it is shifting...

Git Up and GO

It is tuned and shifting fine ,I just want it to be geared lower for quick out of the hole and slower top speed. just remember this is being driven by an Old Fart with slower reflexes:farting: LOL I just don't have a large area to Bash...and do like wheelies and fast take off...

Try 72/16 combo and see if that has enough grunt for ya! or throw a Red Dot in it! That'll get you the ooommphh! watch my numerous lids in the vid i posted!
