Well it was a great day at the races.We finished 3rd heat #1,& 3rd heat # 2.This put us in the #1 starting spot in the Monster Truck B main.I had to place 1st or 2nd to transfer to the A main.It was 98 F and really humid.It seemed I was chasing the tune a bit but so was everone else.I grabbed the hole shot in the B main and never looked back.The truck stopped shifting into 2nd on lap 2 and that OS was screaming for mercy down the front straight ever lap.I actually developed a 1 lap lead so I backed it off a bit and tried to save the engine and the win.It was our first win!I got tangled up a few times with these out of state yahoos but managed a 5th in the A main at the ROAR Nitro Challenge.Its looks like we may have a shot at a top 3 finsh in the season points.We were tied for 5th coming in to todays race.If you ever had an itch to try racing but have not yet,scratch that itch!What a rush :green-grin:
