What is your budget for the new engine? Also what is it about your brakes that you don't like? IIRC the 4.1 Savage already has the upgraded brake setup. Have you tried cleaning and adjusting them?

When I had a Savage, one of the best engines I ran was the Picco 27. Plenty of power and very easy to tune.

What exactly do you mean by cracks in the engine?

because the guy who sold it to me inserted screws that were too big into the engine, causing the engine to crack and so wont hold in place while i start it.. theres also a hole in the engine.. so its buggered.

as for the brakes u have to slow down to brake otherwise it flips but as i used it for no more then a minute can not exactly tell you whats wrong with it other then it was terrible.

Are you with the dual disk set-up or the stock one?

And for the engine sugestion i have the O.S .30vg in one of mine, and kicks ass. But they are expensive.

Do you mean the brakes have too much initial bite, which causes the truck to forward flip? If this is the case, you can adjust the brake linkage for less maximum brake throw. Also increase the amount of fuel tubing on the brake linkage next to the adjustment knob. More fuel tubing gives more progressive brakes. Getting rid of the hamfist is another solution.

these were upgraded to dual disc ...

would changing servos make a difference?

I have a force 36 in mine and its too fast. i dont like my savage now. might sell it and get sumthing more standard. Did you see that vid i posted of it just pulling a wheelie everytime i hit half-ish throttle. its not fun like that

Well i don't even know if i like the Savage to be honest... seems like people with revo's and t-maxx's have less problems and more fun.
