ok, just got back into this. i got a kyosho nitro inferno in a trade and decided to keep it. the engine is good but i want to replace it with a pull start. can i use the XTM 24.7 and what other stuff will i need to get besides just the engine. they say that it was designed to be a replacement for the .21 which is what i have (os). any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks everyone in advance.

Which OS .21 do you have and what are you going to do with it?

os max rf .21. have two of them actually, as far as i know both run, just one had a lose flywheel. i tightened it up but haven't tested it yet. was running when my friend pulled it, he had a spare and just put it on instead of working on it. i just don't like the headache of the start boxes. would rather have the pullstart setup.

pics are on the way and i found a rk on the bottom of the motor mounting flange. other than that i can't find anything else on the engine. i want to say it was what he order the car with new and a spare all at the same time, but doesn't seem like it was the bottom of the line engine. he did tell me that when he bought it, it was rated as the best in its class. hope this helps.
