Stupid Question

Hey everybody I'm new to the whole rc thing. Because of the bad economy i have a stupid question that nobody will probobly say yes to. Well here it goes. Does anybody want to donate a nitro rc car to me? Thanx

Yeah well I'm only 14 so I'm technically not old enough for a job and I've got no cash! LOL. And rc looks like a good hobby to get into.

JeKoch, the only stupid question is the one you didn't ask. What kindof car are you interested in? Will you be able to afford fuel at $25-$35 a gallon? How mechanicall inclined are you? Could you fix it when it breaks

I want a 1/8 truggy, buggy, or truck. I don't have a budget but I do some things for money. I will be able to aforde gas and I like working with mechanicle stuff. When I go to highschool I'm taking a mechanics class so that should help out. I would like to mow yards but it will be hard competing against my neighor who gas been doing it for several years.

Well I can always sell some stuff for a little cash. The only rc cars I have are cheap $20 ones like at radio shack. I want to get into the real deal. I mean any nitro car would do. I just want to get the basic ideal first

I had a guy donate a Grasshopper to me when I was about 12 years old so I figure I can pay it forward. I'm not sure what your story is JeKoch but I know that I was so sick of $20 RCs that that Grasshopper was like gold for the whole 2 days it lasted. I'll never forget it or the man that gave it to me.

Ya one time me and my neigher were driving our crappy rc cars and whenever I got to close to him I lost signal and it went full speed into a curb.

I HAVE ONE KYOSHO. BUT ITS 1/10 SIZE. i can give it to you. but you may need to put some new parts. i would guess, the total cost would be around 100.

Try selling some stuff on ebay and make some quick money that way !
Ebay's where its at buddy, you could probably even find a descent r/c pretty cheap on there !
