hey all, i am STILL having trouble with my sts D30M! i got a rotostart, so now i can get it started, and i got new clutch springs, and i got new CB bearings. i can get it started, and it will idle, but it seems to want to heat up alot. it doesn't sound quite right either...when it idles, i can get it to rev up a lil bit, but it just sounds all sputtery and rich, and if i lean it in, it starts to sound better, but it wont engage the clutch, or get enough revs to do it. i know that its all with the engine...there is nothing wrong with the tranny or anything, because it doesn't even try to move. i even tried to reshim the head, but then i couldnt even get it to start! i dont get it! :seeing_stars:

Are you leaning the high or low end needles?

I have tried both, i have basically went through every setting possible, and it just wont go! i've tried the settings that the vendor reccomended for this engine, since he uses them primarily, and i have reverted to the settings fromt he factory, and i have tried listening to the motor and see if it sounds like it wants more or less fuel, and i just can't get to sound right and produce power. i wonder if i have some how damaged the spray bar in the carb, or damaged a vital engine component
