The new power-engine will be available in a few month. I can't wait so long.....! :-)

Do you even know if this will fit onto the MGT? What are the specs on it?

Yes, it will fit on a MGT. Thunder Tiger/ASSO will make a special motor mount for it.

Hey,

THat sounds like it might turn out to be a sweet engine but I'm sure you can make allot of good big bores on the market fit? I'm impressed with the MGT and might buy one down the road but they should have put a .25 in it to begin with.

I will say that I'm very impressed with the low-end torque of the MGT .21.

Peace

Uhh.... that is a side exhaust engine. To put that in a GT, you would need a special header. What size is that engine? I clicked on Properties and the URL is ....

Pro-50?8-0 Looks like another air plane engine with a car/truck head on it like the HB .46

Bill,
THink this will not work on the MGT? I am still leaning towards doing what you did .

I'm sure there is a way to put it in a MGT, just not sure if there is a good reason?

I have a new WRX Picco .26 on the way.

Bastard ... no offense. I am trying to buy one off a fellow member ..its a picco outlaw 26.

Yup, mine showed up today. If it makes 2.9hp as is, out of the box, I can't wait to see it run after I do some work to it. The crank shaft isn't knife edged, or turbo'd, and the back plate needs to be notched just a tad to unshroud 2 of the transfer ports.

I'm going to break it in, and tune it in stock form first. I may take it apart and port it later.:radio:

Bill ,

I would really like to be able to port my mills like you. Do you think you could take me as a student?
Jon

Jon, you can learn alot by looking around on e bay.

If you take the time to look around, sooner or later you might get to see a pic of some pretty exotic stuff, like the crank out of an RB engine.

I have picked up alot of tricks from checking out exotic high $$$ engine parts on e bay. You just need a good understanding of 2 stroke engines.

Are they going to make a new tranny to go with it? My stock tranny bit the dust with about 5 tanks of my Picco .26!!!

nope. First I had the cvd problems which everybody had, then I was stripping spur gears every crash- the transmission stops abruptly but the engine is still spinning with its steel clutch bell grunging away. Now just driving has destroyed the internals of the transmission without any crashing or anything. All the cvds and diffs, spur and clutch bell are good, but just a whizzing and smoke coming from inside the tranny:bored:
