has the rc stroker kit been done? is it possible. I guess a smaller crank shaft, bearrings to fit ? that would be cool, you could turn more rpms.

A smaller crank shaft?

You would be taking stroke away which would take power away.

Usualy you use a stroker kit in the auto world to increase cubic inch or the engine's power band. Lets say you run a combo with a shorter stroke and and change bore size to gain more rpm for certain applications or longer stroke to gain more torque. With these changes you may also change the deck height of the engine to go along with the stroke change. There is alot more to it but it will give you a basic idea. I assume there are combos like this for certain nitro rc engines. I hope that helps a little

Stroker kits in the rc world don't exist. The reason is that these are 2-stroke engines with the ports(cam) in the cylinder. Changing stroke would mess up port timing.
If you want more power,it's easiest to just go to a bigger engine or a better ported engine.

You could change the stroke in a 2 stroke but would have to change port height along with it. Is it practical probaly not but it would not be hard to do. There are tons of little tricks you could do if needed. The only time it would be practical is in a spec class and were trying to cheat the rules. I can't speak for the rc world, but i would assume they would never tech stroke after a race. But like it was said above just go to a bigger engine. I come from the snowmobile racing world and you do all kinds of things to get an edge and not show it.
