this is a up date, it shows how far off i am. sorry .about 2 to 3 weeks ago i had a small stroke. it was not bad, i couldn't say words, i could think the word, but i couldnt say it. every thing else was ok. i could say the wrong word some of the time. just this is taking me 20 minuets. at the same time i was having trouble with my computer. so i was out of rc for a while. i am sure most of you dont care. so now you punishment is over. forgot, went to doctor, and tests every thing is ok.

Test are good....that is a good thing man. Well now the next part is doing the best to getting back to normal. I know I am glad to see ya back and keep us posted. How long until you are back to bashing?

Glad you're doing ok Moe, hope you continue to get better!

Hang in there. It will just keep getting better till it's just a distant memory.
Just keep us posted on your progress. We're here to listen.

It's good to see you posting man, keep working on getting better! We do care bro, keep us updated.

i have to say this. God has blessed me with the best guys around. when i started rc i had no idea friends would be so great to me. i am truly blessed. iam doing much better. iam about 95%, so ill be ok. THANKS

today is 9/27/11 got to see my doctor. he said my stroke was very small, in the center of my brain . gave me some new med. he said if it would have been smaller it would not have not done anything. so iam not doing bad.

That's really great news. A good friend of mine back in New York had a stroke while getting ready for work 3 years ago this month.
He's just starting to learn to walk with a special cane. He lost his whole left side instantly.
Be thankful.

need help from Racer 1966, or rolex. my computer went south, ( and my brain) but when it came back i lost a rc site but i can't remember what it is. all so my e-mail is out of use, so best to post here. iam trying to tell my self iam not going crazy. thanks.

Moe, been off the site a few days. Just super busy around the house and work, but I wanted to post a get well note. My dad has been through two of these. The first one was really bad, immobilizing his left side for a month or so, but he came back. The second one he had was much smaller, like yours and except for a few weeks of speech/memory issues, he's fine now.

The important thing is to know the signs and see your doctor ASAP. A little "headache" could be the beginning of another anyurism.

Sorry I can't help on the forum. The only other R/C site I hit is rctech.net, as they have a active "Florida Racers" forum with info on the local tracks...

Best...
Mark

Look back through your cookies, favorites and list of most visited sites. I'm sure you'll come across enough info to get back to the one you forgot.
