So I bought a set of 3 bank LED's from SoundOff signal. Its the led3 series, basicly stripped from the outer casing. The problem with them is that when hooked to the 12v power supply, it is just steady blue. So I took the LED bar from behind the grill of my unit, and am about to strip it down to see if i can tie in these mini lights into the pattern board of the bar. Ill post pix as it goes.

Ok, so the whole project took about an hour to do. Its going to take a long time for me to mount them on the car though. Gotta drill through a solid steel set of push bars on the front.

Started with the light bar and the two 3led strobes:

When added 12v power, the two 3led's stayed solid blue:

I disassembled the strobe bar, and removed the control board inside.

Located the control wires to each side of the light and spliced in a small negative and positive wire:

Re assembled it all:

And tested it out. Works perfectly:

Ha. Nah. IDK how to make one of those. I found that one on the internet. Would be cool to have one of my own unit though. I've got a lot more lights that that one does anyway.

Nice job but Damn those are bright Alpine, Your gonna give someone a seizure when you pull them over at night, LOL!!

It's not hard to do, just need some video and then you grab individual video frames and then make it an animated gif. There's free software to do it.

When you get your patrol car screwed back together take some video (use a tripod to keep it still) and then I'd be happy to make the gif for you...

I don't need much, maybe 30 seconds worth, to work with...
