Stripped lid repainted

I use "ELO" more then I would like...lol
It comes in handy if you mess up a lid.
Just think of how many times you mess up and just say to hell with it, and continue
because you feel you have too.
The only thing that sucks, is that it takes time to strip.
Lids usually cost $25-30 dollars. With the amount of lids that I paint, it saves to strip them.
I've had the same can of ELO for 2 years. It payed for itself over and over.

You took an idea, and it inspired your own concept! Subtle differences and changes from the original, but it really is your own artwork. I'd like to see 5 guys paint from the same idea, because I think they would see the idea 5 different ways. Nice job on it!

Were are in the middle of a problem with the club racers at our site.
I might have to go to the club race to sort it out.
Might have to count me out of this one!

So no herbie? AGAIN!! WTF! Dude, I guess I'm coming over!
:devious:

Thats a great idea.
We could post pic's of the work in progress.

I would say we have different opinions on the design, and vote on a scheme.
I would like to be one of the 5.
Anyone one else??

Hey, I'm in on that, as long as I like the original. I think the different "concepts" would be interesting, not to mention the way we go about figuring it out.

Hey Ratzo, how did you do the masking? was it a multi layer mask job or did you use the liquid masking?

This was done with liquid mask. I normaly mask it with tape, but gave the liquid stuff a try. (4 coats).

RatzoRC That is awesome NICE work man!!! I like it much better than the last one.

Hey, could someone tell me what a liquid mask is please? Thanks

sweet silent. It says you did that. Nice job. People have so good ideas these days...

Yeah, I'm a regular poster-boy for the Bob Dively's Liquid Mask. <G> I love the stuff. Amazing what you can do with it, as Ratzo's latest work would indicate.
