Stripped Glow Plug threads

Ok, trying to get a HPI MT2 going that hasnt been run in a while, it would start run then cut out, most probably stale fuel as this has been sat a while.

However I've stripped the thread on the head and wondered what size the thread is so I can re-tap it and use a helicoil as this will save me buying a new head.

Also what size are the bolts holding the head on?

Do you have a helicoil already? It's probably a cheap head, I'd get that and save yourself the trouble. With a helicoil you might only save a couple bucks, if anything at all, just to hope it works.

The glow plugs use less popular thread and heli-coils are getting exspensive. I'd recommend finding a new head like 2revo1maxx suggested.
