my street trucks trany went south last week. the shop ill use is one i have known since 1968. and i think my income tax will cover it. i just need to know when the money gets to me. my ex is going to help me with that.

today 4.24.14 the IRS did deposit my tax re fund. so it might get fixed next week. i hope.

no no no. its west st. i havent raced since the judgement. yea the older chrysler trans DID hold up to racing. in the early 70s i helped a friend built a funny car with a early 392 hemi with 1,000 HP. a 64 , 727 seamed to hold up fine. i dont know why chrysler can't make a good trans any more.

well i dont know the cause. just give back my 1963 300 J and 1965 300 L. course my 1966 charger was a real girl magnet.

date 5-5-14. got the new trany today. the shift points are the same as before. it does shift stiffer, thats good. but its not race car stiff. the torque converter seams to be a little stiffer. better MPG? maybe. i hope this will be the last trany repair.

These broke down threads are bad luck. I first read racer_1966's and then my short box single cab ford decided it didn't like spark plugs anymore!?!.....wth.

Mine's more preventative. My CV shaft started clicking during tight turns the other day so I decided to go ahead and fix it.

well the trans works good. but it will not kick down to 1 st at 20 MPH. ill see if i like it.
