Which tires would be better for street use, the HPI Phaltline Tire/Blast Wheel combo or the Proline Roadrage on a set of 40 series wheels?

Rim doesn't really matter but the Proline 40 series work great for max traction and that low profile which in turn lowers your CG a bit.

i use phaltlines on my brushless erevo and havnen't had any serious issues with them, just make sure you belt them

belt tires = tape tires. Tons of vids on youtube showing this.

A friend runs both tires and the Phaltlines will drift more, the 40 Series road rages will hook up more. If you get the Road Rages, get the 40 series and not the new 3.8.

Yeah I was going to tape them, I didn't know it was referred to as belting.

sorry about that bud, just make sure you use some strong tape, duct tape, gorilla tape ect
