strange problem please help???

hi people iv got a savage 4.6 ss the problem is the throttle trim!! when i try adjust the throttle trim on my cotroller it adjust the brake for some strange reason iv tried swapping chanels on controller but still the same all the servos are in reciver correctly and all work fine apart from this???? really messing with my mind any ideas??? thanks...jacko

the throttle and break are on the same servo ...so its normal...if you carb moves at the same time ..you should be ok

yes there on the same servo but its not adjusting the carb only the brake??/

the carb and break move at the same time .. they are hooked up to the same servo ...if the break moves , the throttle should move to ...they work together .......maybe its just not moving enough for you to see it ...or your linkage might need adjustments

There's a spring on the linkage for a reason. When applying throttle, the linkage slides through the control arm on the servo. When hitting the brake, the arm pushes against the spring without pulling the throttle past idle.

Turn the trim completely down, then set your idle. After that, you can make your brake adjustments.
