I just read an older thread about screws, rcscrews.com was the site that some people were having trouble with the quality of the screws. I need a complete set of screws for the storm but would like something better than stock, does any one know where to find them? or has rcscrews cleaned up the problem and its now ok to get them there?

I'm the one that started the thread after purchasing a set.
As of yet I haven't been re-contacted about returning them or to get an update. Its not a slam on their customer service. I contacted them while they were out of town at a trade show. They did call me back right away but I haven't followed up. Thanks for the reminder...

I believe there is / was a screw company that advertised on this site. I don't know the quality and not sure who is using their kits.

I know I wasn't much help but thanks for the reminder to get my old business taken care of.

Thanks Eddy! I know whats gonna happen though, I will get the complete set from GS and then someone is gonna find that damn link to the better company! This of course will piss me off but I will need screws any way I guess, Lmk what happens with the screws though, I really want better than stock, the damn things are stripped and I hope to find a self tapping set that would be just a bit wider and tougher, and no frickin way in hell am I goin to Home depot! any one else know a link?

I purchased the GS set when I got my kit. Its a great set and has all the set screws and washers included. Only issue is I prefer hex heads over phillips.

A friend of mine just purchased a hex head screw kit for his Savage from Hexscrews Inc. After taking a look at the site I noticed that they carry a screw kit for the Storm and Storm Pro.

The only thing that seems a little strange is the price on the Storm kit is more than the Storm Pro. The price for the Storm screw kit is $31.12 and the price for the Storm Pro screw kit is $17.68.

Either way he was really happy with the quality of the screws.

Edit: I suppose you want a link to the site huh? Here you go.

Thanks mcvickj!

Looking at the site now,, I dont see any difference in the 2 sets they show either,, a little confused as to which one to get, My storm was an arr , so I should probibly get the rtr screws huh?
The only diff I see is that one is called a conversion kit, oh well! Time to order any way! Thanks again for that link!
