Ok I am runnig short on space at my apartment and want to know how you guys store your RC rides. I have tool boxes for my tools and things but How do you store you RC's? I want to store my Buggies and Mt in a way the springs are not compressed. Show me what you got!!!

mines sitting ontop of a shoe box and my tool box so the wheels arent on the ground

I want to be able to transport them all but that is what I kinda do but mine sit on top of CD spindles

Does it hurt them that much if the shocks are compressed?

Yes but I want to drop it onto a stand after cleaning them.

Simply make a stand out of some PVC pipes. You can buy tons of it for cheap. Check out EP, he has one that he uses for his buggies. I think it holds 4 of them, and he uses it for transport too.

I actually just found a pic:

This can give you an idea, and you can simply modify it to fit your setup.

I am looking for pics of his stand. I remember that he had one but I can't find the pics of it

Thanks Bro I am going to use that!!!

Yeah, it is a pretty good design. You can get 10 ft strips of PVC for about $1.50 from your local hardware store. Make sure you pick up a bottle of PVC cement, so your rack won't fall apart.

Good luck, and show us a pic when you finish.

Cool idea! I also live in an apartment right now and with my growing RC collection space is hard to come by, I also might have to try this one out.

I keep mine on the stand I bought from LHS for 15 bucks. Very nice I would say since I only have one rc.

Oh. Hi to everyone. I am newbie

Hello, and welcome to RCNT My Jeep. Nice truck, by the way!

I just use a 2x4 or two to prop my RC's up, but I would say that somthing like EP's with a couple of fixed casters on the back so you can wheel it around like a dolly would be sweet. Maybe you could find someone to make a cover that zips on and off to help keep the dust off them while in storage. Good luck, and post a pic if come up with something original.

Here is my El Pirata inspired buggy storage it still needs a little work and is a bit taller, but I did finally get around to constructing it.

It is working for me, If it still isn't working it is in my user gallery.

I see it now. I like it but I need to make mine much smaller so I can store it an a space of like 2 feet deep 15 inches wide and about 3-4 feet high.

I like yours Nitro21. Can you get a MT on that thing?

Almost but the wheels of my Savage are just hitting the pvc, if I would have made it a few more inches wide it would have.
