Anyone have any good tips on how to properly prepare your engine for storage? Winter is going to set in and the racing season is over. I just want to know how to do it right so i do not damage the engine come next season.

I take my engine completely apart and clean it thoroughly. Then oil the necessary parts and reassemble.

i just let mine sit on the shelf. i empty the fuel tank after each outing and burn the motor clear. they just sit on the shelf, although i do make sure they are at BDC and i put a few drops of marvel mystery in them. thats all i do. they just sit on the shelf. i may not even heat my Rc shed this winter so they gonna be mighty cold!
