I do enjoy a fine cigar every now and again, but no cigs! I can't even stand driving behind someone smoking

HECK YA!

I was just at a clinic for a check up with my wife for the baby to come. There was a woman PREGNANT SMOKING!! I wanted to slap the crap out of this woman. I bet she is going to wonder why she has a child with low birth wieght and is already addicted to nicotine.

I pity those kids.

I'm currently using the "patches"... They seem to be working great for me, but I can't skip a day... I forgot to put one on one morning, and I was a mess all day...
The first 3 days on the patch, I had some of the most intense dreams/nightmares I've ever had... Didn't sleep to well, and woke up with the sweats a few times... After the first week, I was sleeping normal again, and had no cravings. I do have to keep busy though..
Good luck, and you will feel the difference in only 2 weeks of not smoking....

Intense dreams eh.......
Good ones ?/??? lol
maybe i better quit tonight :)

dude I'm also in the process of quiting, man its tuff. i recently tried the patch and man cigarette free till i ran out of patches. i just ordered another batch and hope its good this time. my doctor told me to try the pill but even with insurance the copay was 100 bucks. Although, i heard it really works. good luck i think something work better on others but hey give the patch a shot

LOL, I've flown over Canada probably a thousand times and been to just about every country in Europe but I've never stepped fit on Canadian soil, try a 5 spot if you have one, bet you only light one! ;)

Your either a smoker or your not, make up your mind them go with it.

I haven't smoked in 35 hours! It was a little rough on the ride to and from work...luckily theres not much traffic on the road when I drive home. So far the only thing I'm using is will power and hard candy.

Are you sure your taking the quite smoking patches??? It sounds like your taking the very small stamp/patch with the little picture on it LOL

60 hours and Still going!

Super!! Stay with it. This is the only time it's GOOD to be a QUITTER. You're a winner.
If you smell someone's cigarette, it will repulse you. Don't take a deep breath and think that's it's a sweet smell anymore.
Clear the first week, and you're there. You're body's craving is done, and now it's just the habit of reaching for your shirt pocket. When there's nothing there, rather than panic, you say, "Oops, I forgot, I don't smoke anymore."

QUITTER!!!!!

Thanks bro, I knew I could count on your support :smoke:

Thanks Rolex! After falling off of the wagon a few years ago (I had quite for over 2 years) I'm not a hard core smoker anymore it's really a habit instead of an addiction so it's not too bad. I haven't smoked at home inside or outside in almost 8 years. My son doesn't know I smoke and I don't want him to ever find out...He is 8 year old and wants to do everything I do, thats the main reason I'm quiting!

Once he starts doing what he wants to weather I like it or not I'll probably start again.

I just find it totally impossible to imagine a day when I would pick up a cigarette and actually light it.
I've known several people who have done that and got right back in the habit.
I was a heavy smoker for so many years that it was a major part of me. I could NEVER go home without a back up pack.
I no longer smoke, I don't want to smoke, and I'll never smoke another one. I'm a QUITTER and I'm glad.

Lol hmmm I'm not sure anymore

I just wondered why you said you were on the pill.

...............................................................................

HANG IN THERE, SMaxxin, you're more than half way there!! Your will power gets stronger with each day now, because you don't want to fail.
You can do it, I'm counting on you.

Lol the pill to stop smoking, its an alternative instead of the patch. Although, my wife says that I'm pmsing sometimes, wonder if there is a pill for that? :chillpill

RCFREAK, as far as your PMSing, try Midol.

I often thought I had spent enough on cigarettes to own 3 brand new Jaguars. I never thought about the rc cost. Maybe that's why I'm almost a grand into my Savage now.
It's basically free and extra cash! It used to be wasted on a filthy habit, now it's being invested in a great hobby!

Thanks for that insight, RC.

GO FOR IT, SMaxxin!!!
