he wasn't bo legged, but boy could the scroat RUN !! just wish i had my raleigh chopper with me, the sod wouldnt have got away then the way i ride!!

OK, I give up, what's a "raleigh chopper"? I have heard of Raleigh bicycles, is this the same?

That just sux big time. That's one of my biggest fears when I run any car anywhere other than the track! Did you at least gun the throttle to hopefully burn him and make him drop it?

exactly what i was thinking...peg the throttle to either burn him or blow the engine

that really sucks

yeah i did gun the throttle, unfortunately the fuel tank was almost dry (which is why i was bringing it inbound to refuel just as the scroat got hold of it) so the engine just splutered then died aiding his escape.

As for the Raleigh chopper Query, it is made by raleigh cycles and is a bike made in the 1970's thats now an icon and worth big bucks.

Thats just crazy someone snagged it while you where driving it!! I'm sorry to hear that happend to you. I hope you find the scum who took it, what a piece of sh..!!!!

sorry to say this but that sounds funny.I can just imagine a scroat running down the road car in hand, you in hot persuit on your chopper with remote in one hand flag on the back of the seat and ribbons in the ends of the handle bars. Thats how my chopper used to be anyway.
In all seriousness, I know its not a laughing matter. Sorry.

Actually................... you pretty much did describe my Chopper, tassles in the handlebar grips, long flagpole mounted to the rear axle on the left side plus a ton of extras ! lol

Not a laughing matter its true, but it does take the edge off it to laugh about it.

By a ton of extras do you mean a ton of spokie dokies? lol

I don't know how old you are but when we were kids we used to put some card in the spokes attached with a washing peg to the back fork. This made a cool 'motor bike' noise.
"Sigh" those were the days. lol

Yep, spokey dokey's are another fitted extra, but as for a playing card and clothes peg, things have moved on a bit since then and i have a thing called a "Bike Pipe" fitted, does the same job as the playing card and clothes peg only better ! lol.

Still, this aint helping find my car now is it ! lol. However, the chopper DID help me transport the buggy around for a brief while !!
