good morning
i am running the stock setup on my tmaxx,72t spur stock airfilter ,
but the darm spur is hitting the filter housing ,and cutting into it ,why???
there isnt a area i can mount it to keep it from doing this short of running a small ziptie from the hsn housing to the filter and holding it over
anyone else have this problem,,and how did you fix it ,
thanx
rick

It happend to me my spur cut a small groove in my housing. I just turned the housing to the right so it would clear the spur. Then I just whent out and got a motosavers airfilter and the housing on that clears the gear so no worries.

ok kool..
i will get 1 this weekend or before i run again, i do not want the worries of cutting all the way thru and sucking dirt into a new motor
thanx

It wont only suck dirt into it if it cuts through, but plactic and rubber particles as well. The motorsaver setup is a really nice setup, probably close to, if not the best.
