RC Driving Style
Who likes them and who dosent. Mc wants to get them for his T-maxx and he is saying that everbody that has a savage loves them and are the best tires for the savage. Are they good or are they a waist of money for the T-maxx?
 
They are narrower (not much) than stock T-Maxx or other upgraded T-Maxx tires, but they are taller than most T-Maxx tires. The IMEX tires and ProLine 40 series tires are about the same height.

The rubber on the stock Savage tires is a bit soft, but the tread pattern is just right. The tires hook up really well on just about any surface, but also allow for power slides, donuts, and burn outs if you desire such.

Do I like them? They work just fine for me. I'll replace them when they die with a 40 series tire by ProLine.
 
Sky, upgrade your brake disk. I got the HB 40's and melted my brake disk. HB vented metal rocks, or stops like a rock, whatever....

I like the stock Savage rubber, but the rims SUCK. I just put the tires on a set of HB rims (burned a finger in the process), cause I like them so much.
 
I like the stockers they look like Super Swampers and they work well. No you wont waist money bying them. If I get another Maxx I will also put them on.
 
I like the tires and so far have had no problem with the rims either. I am running the stock 21BB engine and not a higher torque model. Is that the cause of the rim problems?
 
i have my stocks on and bought another set for spare just cuz i like em, haven't had any problem with it and i have a hyper 8p
