Stock Header with OS T2050 pipe combo

Will it be ok to use the stock header with this pipe? The O.S. header will not clear the rear shock. I was thinking of using an exhaust coupling to mate the two, but should I really be using a header that secures to the pipe with springs/gasket to get the best fit?

I have also seen savages with the THS pipe/header. I wonder if the THS header will fit the O.S. pipe. If someone has the measurement of the THS header outer dimensions where it slides onto the pipe please post. Thanks!
