so I've read all the forums about how many problems there is with the t's trans.. so heres my problem: Not only does it not go into forward, servo moves.. should be that throw out spring.. but i also have a problem with my RRP spur gear... i feel like the gear on the motor is just spinning uncontrollable not getting a decent grip on the Spur gear.

slippers so tight the compressed spring started to come up and over the bolt. fixed that problem by backing it off 1/4....still have the problem. thanks

so heres what i just found out.. i just started the truck and it did the same thing.. the slipper/spur/clutch are all spinning fast as hell..but the truck goes in and out of gear kinda like real harsh jerking..i tried to give it a push forward where it was trying to go but it wasn't budging..i took a look inside the trans adjusting holes on the trans case and the adjusting screw is not in the gear. would this just cause it from not shifting into second..or another thing i noticed that one of my brake screws is some threads out. the truck rolls freely when off and brakes work..would the vibration of the truck when running to activate the brake shoes....i took the trans apart and all gears are in tact. man I'm stumped.. should i just go FOC to save myself some hassle... i want to take this bad boy up to the snow this weekend..so I'm on a countdown

The newer Maxx trannies are much easier to take out I've heard. You might want to try that because it sounds like you've got a stripped gear somewhere.

It sure sounds like it's inside the trans, possibly the grub screw that locks it down on the shaft. If it's not that, then you need to check your drive train. you could have a problem with one of the drive shafts, or the diffs.

update: i took the trans apart and sure enough the gear with a brass core was all binded up[the gears were smashed down which closed the valley next to it and so forth] and the adjusting screw which should be found in that gear for the shift point into second was nowhere to be found.. fyi i too bought this t-bagg .15 from ebay recently and am trying to overcome these obstacles..thanks
