I have heard that the Savage .25 Suspension is stiff and bouncey. is this true what can I do to combat this. What would be good oil and springs to use.

Thanks

MIne was fine stock, actually too soft. The stock shocks are awsome. To fix this or if it is too bounce

A). Try a little softer spring
B). Put a little lighter shock wt fluid in there.

Playing with those two things will give you a good set up. I reccomend a MEDIUM spring and trying diff weights from 45wt - 65wt. Tringity makes good fluids.

Hey since you brought it up can I ask you a Q.

What do different diff wt oils do? What does a thick oil do compared to a thinner oil. I have only had a Maxx so I have never had to deal with diff oils. just a quick rundown would be good. I dont need a huge scientific explination. a link would also do.
do I use the same wt in each diff or different
Thanks.

When talking about diffs here is what you need to know, keep in mind i dont know everything about each weight

A). The thicker the weight the more resistance so the the more power it takes to turn it. I run K in both diffs. Works really well for all around bashing, mild and heavy.

Shock oil

A). Thinner oil the less pressure it takes to push through it. A thin shock oil will flow through the piston much fater giving you less resistence and a softer suspension. Its like 15wt is water, and 70wt is pudding. I run 55Wt in U.E shocks.
