i have a tmaxx 2.5 and i have just recently started having problems with the throttle getting stuck open at full, the length of rod that runs infront of the spurrgear on the tranny keeps getting flipped around backwards i know that is whats causing it i just dont know how to stop it i have tried making sure that the screw was tight to eliminate unwanted play, i tried putting a piece of wire in there to try and stop it flipping back but the with breaks or falls off i am out of ideas, i look forwadr to your suggestions :D

You need to either adjust the angle of the carb in the crankcase so the throttle arm on the slide valve is closer to the bellcrank and/or adjust the length of the linkage from the bell crank to the throttle arm to be longer so that the bellcrank does not over rotate and lock out. Then readjust the linkage from the servo horn to the bellcrank for full throttle control.

had the same problem on one of my tmaxxes, the throttle arm is to long and you have to adjust the carbs angle so it opens wide open
