My t-maxx all of a sudden has very sluggish steering, even if I lift the front end off of the ground. Batteries have been replaced with fresh ones and the two screws behind the wheels ( I have no idea what they are called, they attach to the A-Arms) were loosened a little to let them move easier. Servo seems to be fine, the servo saver is also in good shape. What could it be???:\

I would take the servo arm off the servo & move the steering linkage back & forth to feel for any resistance. You could also check the servo for any damage at the same time.

Check your bellcrank posts. Somtimes they bend. Also the screws can come out of the tops where they attach to the chassis. Those screw things at the end of the A-arm inside the axle carriers are pivot ball caps. If they are too tight they will inhibit steering. Good Luck!!

I had this same problem. It ended up being that I was tighting the screws down too much. But then I started to loose screws. So I started using blue threadlock and I was able to get a resistant free steering setup. Now I just need to work on getting it to track straight. :)

Which screws mcvickj?
The ones that go into the alunium bellcrank posts? If so I use threadlock on mine but crank em down tight. The one time I had poor steering was when I lost one of the screw in the top and the post just sort of got pushed around by the servo.
