steering servo tmaxx

Hey everyone, I am new to RCnitro talk and also pretty new to the hobby. I have a TMaxx that i am trying to install a new steering servo on and I am having difficulty understanding the process. I thought I would just be able to throw it on and was I wrong. I bought the truck used from a friend of mine who took great care of it but the steering servo needed to be replaced. I know this is a very easy fix and you guys are probably laughing and snickering but I am not understanding the positioning in which it needs to be. My friend in which I purchased this from is now gone for deer hunting and I am stuck with no steering on my truck. Can anyone help?
