Along With My new Exaust I'm Getting I'm Gonna Get A New Steering Servo And Shocks. Whats the Best Shocks and Steering Servo...And The Price

Wait to get those Power Stroke shocks from Proline for the Savage. They make the world of difference on Maxxes, TNXs, and MGTs, so I'm sure they'll do the same for the Savage. And the Futaba 9402 or 9451 have got to be the best choices for servo, 9402 is about $80 and the 9451 is $100. Just my opinion. Good luck with whatever you choose.

hitech 645 for steering.. 625 for throttle and a hump pack should hook you up.. there cheeper to!! like 30 each for the servos and pack bux on ebay.. and on the shocks I've had no problems with the stock ones but I've heard of people having good luck with aftermarket shock towers, and buggy shocks..

And The Steering Servos Will Help Me Steer Better? Cuz I Got A Traxxas One That I Grabbed Out Of A Nitro Rush And It doesn't Turn Like It used To.

A hump Back? What Do You Mean? Like Instead Of AA Batteries Get A Battery Pack? Or What

yeah, get a hump pack, it will be 5 smaller batteries like 2/3 or gp1100 size that are rechargeable and give you longer run times.

http://lightninghobby.com/product_56384_detailed.htm is this the right steering servo? i dont think i need a throttle one...

That be the one. The setup beason outlined is exactly what I'm running in my Sav and it's great for the price. Definitely might want to consider going with a 6.0v rechargeable battery pack. You'll need a charger for it, but decent all-purpose chargers will only run you maybe $60 for a dependable one. And it will save you a ton of money in the long run rather than pumping new AA's into it every couple runs.

Do I Need a New Radio Too. I Was Reading On There And It Said Something Like I Need Some Type Of Radio..

No new radio. As far as shocks keep the stockers, their great and cheap to replace. However if you a torn to get new shocks Nova towers and 4 UE shocks would be the route to go.

what they are talking about is the connector on the end of the servo. JR radios use a different end plug then futaba. look at your current recvr, see if it has a cut out where the servo plugs in to accept a side tab. if it does, u need to get one like that. if it doesn't, then get the servo without the side tab

Savage fan is correct. Futaba recivers (stock savage reciver) the servo has a little tab on it, on everyother brand servo there is not tab. You can use a servo without a tab on the connector in the Futaba recover but you can't use a servo with a tab on anything but a futaba or cheap RTR reciver. The savage has the futaba type connectors.
