I had a little run it with a survey stick at a hi rate of speed. Opps. Had to replace both arms and a shock. I have it all back together but it seems to be sticking when I turn the wheels. It turns ok sometimes, other times it seems to hang or get stuck mid turn. Doesn’t seem to want to move either direction then. Give it a little push and it goes back to center. Did I over tighten something?

Have you checked you batteries? They could be getting old. The reciever batteries usually last about 5-6 tanks, so check em out. Your pivot balls may also have the caps put on too tight.

Your pivot balls are binding. Loosen the retaining cup till you can steer with no binding.

I can almost guarantee you that you tightened the pivot ball cups too much.

I did the same thing after crashing my Maxx and replacing the arms and shocks lol. It wouldnt turn for anything, just dont get the to loose or your Maxx will be all over the road :) by the way love the name onmytopagain :) you must have the older .15 version Maxx hehe that what I have and it spends alot of top upside down. I've gotten though where I can slide it and have it up on two wheels and gun it and put it back on all fours.

So I am picking up a reoccurring thought, pivot ball cups. I will try losing them a turn or so. The first T-Maxx I drove was a friend of mine and every time he looked to see why I was LMAO he saw it on its top. When he gave me the controler he told me it could take a beating, so I put it to the test. After that day it was only a matter of time before I owned my own. I have a new one, but I still find ways to land on my top. I have only had mine a month or so and I loved every moment of it.

Take the tie-rod/turnbuckles off first. That will show you if your pinch point is upstream (drag link or servo linkage), or downstream (pivot balls)

You have to take it off anyway...
