I've got a tmaxx 2.5 2-3 months old. when I turn the truck left and when i let go to straighten up it stays turning left. this does not happen when I turn right. I've taken off the steering linkage and checked the servo it works properly.any ideas? one more problem when I get on the throttle the motor revs up like it should but the truck doesn't move like normal. any ideas on that?

for the revving/not moving check spur gear, slipper clutch, and clutch shoes.

probably loose/fried slipper clutch.

easy way to check it is to turn the spur gear the direction that causes the wheels to turn over, then hold truck down and force the gear to turn some more.... this will tell you how loose your slipper is. it should be possible to force the gear but fairly hard... if it is easy to force or just goes freely then tighten up the nut on it. (NOT all the way... its supposed to slip a bit)

for steering issues check the pillow balls... might be binding when wheels turn...

I don't think you can check the slipper like that on the t maxx because it dosen't engage the tranny until it reaches a certian speed due to reverse feature at least thats been my exsperiance I could be wrong though...and like brew said check all of your pivot points and make sure it all moves freely and bearings in your steering linkage couldn't hurt...

Nope your right abadk9420 .. With a forward only kit you can just turn the spur and check it that way .. but when its all stock you can't tell that way . When was the last time clutch shoes / slipper pegs were checked ? I'd just pull it apart and check .
