go the gpm i have been running one on one of my maxxs for bout 2 years
only thing you need to keep an eye on is where the shoulder screw pivot it can deveop play there i shimmed mine with some teflon washers and it all good now

thanks i think I'm gonna go ahead and get the gpm see how it fairs i busted my front bulk and skid plate and it also messed up my steering linkage its fixable but i figured it would be a good time to upgrade it if the upgrade was worth it

Does the GPM steering bell crank have the integrated servo saver? If not I would just use the current stock 3.3 spec with the built in servo saver. (If you have reverse you would need to raise the reverse servo for the 3.3 spec bell crank to work).

can i use the 3.3 spec on a 2.5 snook is that linkage better than the 2.5 linkage

Yes the 3.3 spec bell crank is better than the 2.5 style.
It has the integrated servo saver so you can delete the weak stock round saver that attaches to the servo (comes with extra spring for high torque servos and big tires), and the drag link and control arms will capture the toe links and linkage rod from the servo on both sides of the ball ends.
You need the bearings for the upper portion and I recommend bearings to replace the lower bushings also.
If you have reverse installed you will have to raise/shim the reverse servo up in order for the bell crank to clear the bottom of the servo that sits below the chassis is all.
Part # 4945

reverse is long gone that was the first upgrade I made bc I'm not a fan of the bucking from a 2.5 tranny I'm gonna go ahead and upgrade to the 3.3 spec linkate instead sounds better to mw amd its cheaper
