Is there any ways to tighten up my steering on my Savage X 4.6? What I mean Is when I am driving it the wheels kinda have a wiggle to them almost like a wheel bearing is out. It is very hard to control when getting into the throttle across the great outdoors. I have checked everything and I see it is actually coming from my turnbuckles screws almost like the screws in them are to small for the hole. But I can't get a bigger bolt to screw in them. Surely I couldnt have worn all 8 of the ends on all four wheels out in a matter of 2 months only running it once a day.

try a longer screws with washers on either side of the arms then a nut to snug them down. that should help. put some toe out in the front also

A stock Savage should have longer bolts w/locknuts already. The nuts do fall off sometimes. Are the plastic ends of the turnbuckles worn or stretched? Check to see if the c-hubs for a problem or loose hardware.

well, my savage x ss has a lot of play in the steering by itself so maybe you're just noticing that. i heard that putting the bearings in the steering deal instead of the stock bushings helps make the steering "better" but idk if it would help with the slop...just remember that the savage is a basher and isnt designed to have tight handling lol. good luck mah friend

maybe you mean the servo saver? but yep, if the saver is too loose then it will deflect a lot and cause what you are describing.
