Bad batt pack? I've got the rechargeable 5 cell for the on-board batts.

Anyway. The steering doesn't work very well. It hardly does anything, even with the wheels in the air, not running -tipped up. The servo moves a little, but not much.. Just installed the servo-saver kit and the posts are loose and the connections are free moving before the servo was hooked up. Got the truck back together and no dice. Trim isn't doing much at all here. I lose left or lose right when I adjust the steering trim or ratio.

The throttle:
When do you set the servo arm to 90*? When you install the arm that is. I turned the truck batt on and installed it to 90*, but when I turn the transmittter on, the servo kicks to a different position. Readjust it to be 90* when the transmitter AND truck are on?

The throttle isn't doing much. it's hardly cracking the throttle open much at all. I loosened the throttle post linkage arm, deal.. Still no dice. Tried adjusting the trim. Trim all the way up is part throttle still. Trim down is almost no throttle.

Servo adjustment? Batt pack? bad servos??

Hmm.. Plugged it into the charger for a trickle charge and it charged but started giving me flash fault codes.

Battery was getting pretty warm during the charge. What amp charge do you typically use for this ni-mh 6v batt? I don't see a milli-amp-hour rating on it. I have a 1,2, and 4 amp charge rates @ 50mA, 100mA and 200mA.

What about the servo arm install? 90* when the receiver and transmitter are both on?

-=EDIT=-

Picked up a good 1200mah batt pack. I may have fried the past one by charging it at the wrong setting as I don't know what size/mah it is. No labeling, just a blue shrink wrap.

-=EDIT2=-
The batt worked, but it quickly went back to the original problem.. I'll take the truck out for a run this week when it's nice out to see if it still acts up while the truck is in motion.
